Guard your accounts with Wayne Savings Overdraft Protection
Sometimes overdrafts just happen. Our lives are busy—it’s easy to make a miscalculation in your checking account balance or forget to write down a debit card transaction.
Overdrafts may be created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal or other electronic means (paid or returned). Whether your overdraft will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.
With our Overdraft Protection, you have options to help you avoid the expense of having an auto payment or check returned due to insufficient funds. We offer Deposit Account Overdraft Protection through our Statement Savings and Money Market Investor accounts and Line of Credit Overdraft Protection—each of which is designed to provide your accounts with protection and provide you with peace of mind.
Line of Credit Overdraft Protection
Line of credit overdraft protection covers checking account overdrafts by transferring money into your checking account from a line of credit (up to your credit limit). A service fee applies for advances. You can apply for an overdraft line of credit today by contacting a member of our Commercial Lending Team.
Deposit Account Overdraft Protection
Link your Wayne Savings Statement Savings or Money Market Investor account to your checking account with Deposit Account Overdraft Protection. In the event your checking account becomes overdrawn, we will transfer funds from your authorized deposit account to your overdrawn checking account. Enrollment in this program is free, though an overdraft transfer fee will be applied when funds are transferred. Stop by the branch nearest you to sign up!
Transaction limits do apply for Statement Savings and Money Market Investor Accounts.
See our Account Disclosures & Fee Schedule for transaction limits and fees regarding overdrafts.
