End of the Tax Season Celebration at Wayne Savings
Each April, Wayne Savings Community Bank hosts the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. Over 100 area businesses, city leaders and Wayne Savings staff members came together during this year’s event to celebrate after the busy tax season. A delicious array of appetizers and desserts were prepared by Jake’s Steakhouse.
The bank’s President and CEO, H. Stewart Fitz Gibbon III, thanked everyone for attending the third annual Tax Day party. He also took the opportunity to mention that April is Community Banking Month. “We very much believe in the community banking business model, where decisions are made locally.”
Wayne Savings has been headquartered in Wooster since 1899, and serves five contiguous counties surrounding the downtown office.
